Gourmand Rotisserie is hiring our opening team for this Fall. We’re looking for experienced food and beverage professionals who understand that genuine hospitality is rooted in warmth, attentiveness, and making every guest feel truly welcome. About Gourmand:
Gourmand will serve rotisserie chicken, sandwiches, seasonal salads and sides, fries, and small plates, along with wine, beer, batched cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, and a small selection of specialty foods and wines for retail purchase.
In the mornings, we will offer grab-and-go breakfast items, coffee beverages, and our retail selection. Gourmand will operate as a counter-service restaurant with guests ordering at the counter, receiving their drink and a table number, and grabbing a table for us to take care of the rest.
Our style of hospitality is warm, relaxed, and attentive. While we are a counter-service restaurant, we want every guest to feel welcomed, cared for, and excited to return.
Front of
House & Bar Manager
This person will serve as a trusted part of the management team and will help lead the daily guest-facing operations of the restaurant.
They will supervise hourly employees, help maintain service standards, support scheduling and purchasing, oversee the bar and beverage program during service, and ensure that the restaurant remains organized, welcoming, and exceptionally clean throughout the day.
This is a hands-on management position. The right person will be equally comfortable directing a shift, helping at the register, making drinks, running food, restocking supplies, resolving a guest concern, or cleaning a table. We are looking for someone who leads by example and notices what needs to be done before being asked.
The ideal person for this role has prior leadership and management experience, specifically in restaurants and/or bars. Beer, wine, and beverage experience is strongly preferred.
Server
We are looking for versatile and enthusiastic Front of House Team Members who enjoy working with people and are willing to help wherever needed.
This is an all-hands-on-deck position combining counter service, food running, coffee and beverage preparation, dining-room upkeep, retail sales, and guest assistance. Team members will rotate between responsibilities depending on the needs of the restaurant and the pace of service.
The ideal person for this role is dependable, punctual, and ready to work as part of a team. Prior hospitality experience strongly preferred, but not required.
Sous Chef
We are looking for someone someone who understands that a great kitchen is built on organization, cleanliness, consistency, and a desire to learn. Our Sous Chef should be comfortable leading by example in a high-volume kitchen while helping develop a strong, professional kitchen culture.
The ideal person for this role has previous kitchen management/Sous Chef experience, a strong understanding of kitchen operations/purchasing pars, and strong attention to food quality and consistency amongst other requirements.
Minimum 3 years of professional cooking experience required.
Line Cook
This is a great opportunity for cooks who want to grow in their knowledge of French cuisine and work with beautiful local product.
We are looking for reliable people that have the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment, poses strong organizational skills, and a desire to learn and grow as a cook.
Minimum of 1 year of professional cooking experience required.
